Saba Rock Resort

All I can say is WOW! Saba Rock was as great as the pictures made it look! We had an incredible week staying there! Their water taxi made it so easy to go all over the Virgin Gorda area and the staff made it such a pleasure to stay there. David runs the place and let me tell you he does a great job! They keep it up to the highest standards and all the employees are super friendly and genuinely appear to enjoy their jobs. We had some great evenings there over cocktails and sunsets that will I will never forget. We also ate some of our best meals right there at the restaurant. Some of the staff who really stood out were the manger Lance and one of our favorite waitresses Rosie. They went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. I can't wait to go back and possibly bring a few friends along!

Coming from a pretty great place in the caribbean (St. Thomas), I am always increadibly happy to visit Saba Rock. Everyone at the resort is really friendly and welcoming and I even feel like they remember me each time I visit. The location in the North Sound is so beautiful and the hotel is always very clean and refreshing. Not to mention the awesome staff including David, Josey, Jemma and Rossie just to name a few. I can't wait to get back!!!

Unique, special, and a thesaurus of words after that do not quite come close. First, be prepared as it is small. 8 rooms. Staff is attentive and the managers very efficient and helpful. Only one meal during the whole week was not up to par. Note: prices are island prices; almost everything comes in from far away. Peaceful and sedate during the day turns into fun bar scene at about 5 pm when all the yacht folks pull up in their dingy. Best fun: watching them, when a bit tipsy, try to get back into the dingy. Also, if the bar area gets to warm in the sun around 5, just take your drinks to the other side of the tiny island and sit on the deck and enjoy the breeze. We took the Saba Rock ferry to the beach at Prickly Pear. Be wary when the cruise ships are in as they 'take over' this beach. Otherwise you will have it mostly to your self. I recommend going to Bitter End for snorkeling trips or sailing lessons. Swimming directly off of Saba Rock is possible but awkward. Secret: if you can (and it is pricey) take the Caribbean Buzz chopper directly from St. Thomas airport to Saba Rock. It was a highlight of our week there.

We just had a mooring ball, so I can't speak to the rooms. Somehow I had heard about Bitter End, but not Saba Rocks. The bar was really comfortable with a beautiful view. Great Happy Hour drinks. Great shelter for the boat. Two nights were not enough. Will be back again and again.

Absolutely ridiculous! I tried to buy a medium tank top to the store & they wouldn’t sell it to me since it was on a display. They had one XL on the rack but it was too big. They would not switch the XL to the display & sell me the Medium, even though there’s only 2 left & there not getting more! I couldn’t believe it, they would not let me buy it. From a world of small business retail, it was a terrible customer experience & I couldn’t spend the money I would have. Very disappointing!
